Academic Research Coordinator

Dr. Windle has served in numerous leadership roles in several professional organizations: Past President of TNA District 9, TAPAN, ASPAN, and PNAMH; past Regional VP/board member of PNAA; and past Chair of CSPS. Windle is a JoPAN editorial board member and was the Research Columnist for ten years. She is co-editor of the PeriAnesthesia Nursing Core Curriculum, 2nd-4th editions, published numerous articles and book chapters, and has delivered numerous presentations nationally and internationally. Some of her awards include: TNA District 9 Top 20; ASPAN Outstanding Achievement; PNAA Outstanding Nurse Administrator; Jose Rizal Nursing Excellence; Advance for Nurses Best Nurse Leader; ASPAN Recruiter of the Year 3x; Silver Award of the Good Samaritan Foundation; SU Outstanding Alumni; Dean Medallion of Honor; FAAN (2008) and FASPAN (2018).

Shela Ecobiza is an active member of PNA Metropolitan Houston, Texas. She is a currently a Board Member and the 2018-2020 Chair of the Outstanding Filipino Nurse and Scholarship Committee. She was the immediate past Treasurer and held the position for four terms. Presently, She is a member and the South Central Region Representative in the PNAA Budget and Finance Committee.
