Ms. Laput is a former president of Philippine Nurses Association of Michigan (PNAM). She currently is director of Clinical Services in a home care agency. She assists her community in being a project director focusing on increasing vaccination coverage among Asian-Americans in the counties of Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb in Michigan.

Ms. Atillo is Registered Nurse in a post anesthesia care unit (PACU). She is also a board member of Ang Bisaya of Michigan and secretary of Philippine Nurses Association of Michigan (PNAM) where she participates in community service.
